We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. With this privacy policy, we want to inform you about how your personal data is handled on the FNT User Group platform.

1. Information on the Collection of Personal Data

1.1. In the following, we'll inform you about the collection and processing of your personal data when using the FNT User Group platform. Personal data is any information that relates to you personally, such as your name, address, email address, or user behavior.

1.3. You can reach our data protection officer at datenschutz@fntsoftware.com or by mail at our postal address with the addition "the data protection officer."

1.4. If you contact us via email or a contact form, the data you provide (your email address, and if applicable, your name and phone number) will be stored by us to answer your questions. We will delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or we will restrict processing if legal retention obligations exist.

2. Collection of Personal Data When Visiting Our Website

2.1. Registration Data

To use the FNT User Group platform, registration is necessary. For this, we collect the following personal data from you: first name, last name, username, company, position, business address, phone number, and email address.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

2.3. Based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR, we collect data about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). The access data includes the name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider.

2.4. Log file information is stored for a maximum of 14 days for security reasons (e.g., to investigate abuse or fraudulent activities) and is then deleted. Data that must be retained for evidentiary purposes is exempt from deletion until the final clarification of the respective incident.

3. Use of Cookies

3.1. This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are explained below:

In Internet Explorer 9, select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu. Now click on the "Privacy" tab. Then, under Settings, move the slider up to block all cookies. Confirm your setting with "OK". In Firefox, click on "Firefox" in the menu bar and then on "Preferences". Select the "Privacy & Security" section. Set the drop-down list next to "Firefox will:" to "Use custom settings for history". 4. Web Analytics Services

We do not use any web analytics services.

5. Use of Blog Functions

5.1. In our blog, where we publish various articles on topics related to our products, you can post comments.

5.2. When users leave comments or other contributions, their IP addresses are stored for 7 days based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. This is for our security, in case someone leaves unlawful content (insults, forbidden political propaganda, etc.) in comments and contributions. In this case, we can be held liable for the comment or contribution ourselves and are therefore interested in the identity of the author.

5.3. Comments are not checked before publication. We reserve the right to delete comments if they are objected to by third parties as unlawful.

6. Data Processing

6.1. All information you submit to us is stored on our servers in the European Union. Our web server is hosted by D9T GmbH, Turmstr. 43, 89231 Neu-Ulm. Brainson GmbH, Stadtstraße 15, 79104 Freiburg, is commissioned and responsible for the ongoing updating of the platform with security updates.

7. Data Security

7.1. We take organizational, contractual, and technical security measures in line with the state of the art to ensure that the provisions of data protection laws are complied with and to protect the data we process against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Please note that SSL encryption for transfers to the database carried out over the internet is only activated if the key symbol appears in the bottom menu bar of your browser window and the address begins with "www." Through SSL (Secure Socket Layer), data transfer is protected from illegal data access by third parties with an encryption technology. If this option is not available, you can also choose not to send certain data over the internet.

7.2. The security measures include, in particular, the encrypted transmission of data between your browser and our server.

7.3. All information you submit to us is stored on our servers in the European Union.

8. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties and Third-Party Providers

10. Deletion of Data

12. Changes to the Privacy Policy

12.1. We reserve the right to change the privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal situations or in the event of changes to the service and data processing. However, this only applies with regard to declarations on data processing.
